Light House Escape
Light House Escape
(uploaded to EG 18 Feb 2010)
Why Users Hate It:
tosca: I HATE elevators
Kenneth: BUG!!!!!!!!!! HAD TO RESTART!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BACK AWAY FROM DOOR ON 2ND FLOOR QUICKLY AFTER USING KEY!!!!! DOOR WON'T OPEN IF YOU DO!!!!
zoz: this elevator is tedious! I wish I could just take the stairs!
SneakSnake: I will never play anything with the name Gazzy in it anymore. Like the Chairman said, just sit back and enjoy the comments.
Paco: A great waste of time due to the "slow motion".

ReplyDeleteI never liked Gazzyboy games from the beginning, but I stopped playing them altogether when I got a virus warning after going to their site.
ReplyDeletehello all, and greetings!
ReplyDeleteyou might know who i really am, and you might not... but anyways, i have just been told by ellie about this AMAZING blog, and after reading it, i must say THANK YOU JASON on making such a downright hilarious blog! I should have thought of doing this on my blogger.
this will be a good official HQ for all us gazzyboycotters, you can DEFINITELY count me in here, seeing as i was 1 of the 1st ever to boycott them. i did return twice to thier games in the past to give them another chance, but they failed to improve and so i shunned them for good. AND STILL TO THIS DAY they apparently still have bugs and other annoyances (from what people have been saying, and i take thier word on it).
I LAUGH at saravanan saying there there will not be any bugs in gazzy games... i think sneaksnake just showed him just what a pathetic liar he is, by posting the LONG list of complaints, MANY of which are about BUGS... THE VERY BUGS HE SAID WILL "NOT COME IN GAZZYBOY GAMES"!
ON TOP OF THIS!!!! kitkatfox once complained about an increasing advertisement problem on the gazzy website. she even reported getting adware on her computer i think! it seems that they only care about money, and want to shove ads down our throat to get it faster! they dont seem to care at ALL about the players, and will just go on doing whatever it takes to make money.
so yea... go shove it up your ass gazzyboy, we are sick and tired of your retarded games, got it??? come back when you can create a REAL game, AND when you can start caring about the players satisfaction MORE than your selfish need for money... and mabye i will give you another chance... MABYE. but im sure hell will freeze over before you manage to create something even HALF decent!
ah, thank you so much jason for making this place, finally i could be as mean to gazzy without worrying about yalcin deleting my comment lol! :D
thanks @sneaksnake, evie, and chairman for your comments. i'll try to get more posts up soon. (been kinda busy with life as of late.)
ReplyDeletethe buzz is that more and more people are joining the gazzyboycott, so that's good. i agree that gazzyboy is becoming entirely too money-hungry. their policy of "a new game everyday" makes no sense when the object is to get people to play the games and come back for more. when the games are churned out like nut butter from an overstimulated teenaged wanker, the quality inevitably plummets.
also, gazzyboy has a tendency to make pcs freeze and crash for no reason. another problem lately seems to be that doors take forever to open, and there are entirely too many steps involved in doing things like navigating and picking up items.
some good hack is going to break into their server one of these days and give them a nightmare, but it won't be me. i don't know who it's going to be, but i can guarantee that it'll be some player who suddenly (and completely justifiably) becomes so enraged at gazzy's unplayability that they see no other alternative but to spare the world the nightmare that is gazzyboy.
fight the fight. keep the faith. support the boycott.
reading my own comment gave me an idea: an award needs to be created for excellence in room escape games. a lot of the sites (jayisgames is great at this) do a yearly "best of" contest with users voting their faves. eg24 would be wise to implement something similar. just sayin'.
ReplyDeletelol i would SO love to see someone hack gazzyboys server like you described!
